SWIFT CURRENT, SK – The Southwest Facility Foundation is excited to announce another generous commitment from our community, as they approach $1 million raised. Stark & Marsh has committed $15,000 over ten (10) years for a total of $150,000 to the Southwest Facility Foundation campaign.

Stark & Marsh’s commitment takes the Foundation to a total of $914,750 committed towards a goal of $8 million. The funds raised are to support future recreational facility construction decisions made by City Council. The City of Swift Current will continue to leverage and lobby all levels of government for their assistance and support of future projects.

Elden Moberg, CEO, Partner with Stark & Marsh - “Stark & Marsh is pleased to announce our commitment to donate $150,000 towards the establishment of a new recreational facility that will ultimately be home to a new indoor aquatic centre and fieldhouse for our community. We firmly believe that southwest Saskatchewan will experience substantial advantages from this initiative. We extend our gratitude to the Southwest Facility Foundation for leading this project on behalf of our community. We eagerly anticipate witnessing the realization of this project and its ensuing benefits.”

“Once again, another community-minded business has stepped up to show support for this much-needed facility in Swift Current. Thank you to Start & Marsh for this generous commitment. Many thanks from SWFF, the City of Swift Current, and all those who will benefit from it. The message is getting clearer each day, time to build it!” - Vim Parmar, Southwest Facility Foundation Board Member.

Along with fundraising, part of the Foundation’s mission is to share and educate the community about the need, importance, and benefits of new recreation facilities in Swift Current. New facilities provide much-needed space for residents of all ages to gather and participate in a variety of recreational activities, fostering a healthy and active community. The benefits extend well beyond the user groups and benefit the entire Southwest by improving the quality of life and boosting tourism, economic activity, and future growth.
