FAQ

  • The Southwest Facility Foundation is a non-profit entity, made up of volunteers whose mandate is to provide a vessel for local philanthropists and fundraisers to contribute to the construction of new sport, leisure & recreation facilities in the City of Swift Current.

Established in 2022, the foundation was formed on the premise that if the community organized itself independently, in support of future City of Swift Current grant applications, that those applications would be more successful.

Thus, the Southwest Facility Foundation was established with the goal of raising $8 million dollars to contribute to the City of Swift Current once recreation facility projects are approved, funded, and shovel-ready.

  • Donate to the Southwest Facility Foundation to support the construction of new recreational facilities in Swift Current. Showing support as a community and raising funds to contribute to capital projects, greatly helps efforts to receive federal and provincial grants. Once a project receives the required grants and is approved, the Foundation will donate funds to the project, as approved by the Board of Directors.

The funds raised will make a difference in helping Southwest Facility Foundation ensure recreational facilities meet the needs of the residents of Swift Current and the Southwest Saskatchewan region.

  • Donate by cheque
