SWIFT CURRENT, SK - The Southwest Facility Foundation officially launched in April of 2023 with a fundraising goal of $8,000,000 (8 million) to help support the construction of new sports, leisure, and recreation facilities in Swift Current. The Southwest Facility Foundation is excited to announce the first commitment to the campaign.

To kick off the fundraising, MNP is committing $206,500 to the Southwest Facility Foundation to help with building future recreational facilities. The dollars will be provided upon ground-breaking in the amount of $41,300 over five (5) years.

“MNP has a proud six-decade history of investing in our communities, whether they are defined by peoples, places, or causes. We contribute to vibrant, thriving, and sustainable communities everywhere we operate, ” explains Kirby Bochek, Regional Managing Partner. “We are thrilled to support this important project and kick start to campaign to help make the sport, leisure, and recreational facility needs in Swift Current and Southwest Saskatchewan a reality.”

“We are extremely excited to announce that the Foundation is open for business with Sponsorship Naming Rights available starting at $100,000 with terms of 5 to 10 years. To jump-start our funding goal with the commitment of MNP is only fitting,” states Foundation Chair, Sasha Godenir. “It’s the beginning of a journey that we are excited to start. By working together as a community, we CAN build a new Aquatic Leisure Facility and/or Field House.”

In addition to corporate donations and personal philanthropy, the community can also get involved by hosting fundraising events. The Kiwanis Foundation of Hope Gala is one of the first events to be announced. The 2024 Gala will be hosted on April 11, 2024 at the Living Sky Casino in support of the Southwest Facility Foundation.
